Two reports born from recently-published Census data confronted Pittsburghers with hard truths about the economic difficulties in and residential flight out of Allegheny County. In the last five years, Allegheny County lost 50,000 jobs. In the last year, the county lost more residents than any other county in Pennsylvania, suffering the 10th largest population decline in the U.S.
